However, I do think that gaming, in general, is one of the biggest factors and barriers to entry when it comes to Linux adoption on the desktop as a whole.and it seems Steam has made some great progress on this front. not many steam deck users are going to overly concerned with using Zoom on it. Well, for one, so far Steam Deck is just a concept.until units are in the hands of users, and becomes a proven product with significant market-share, it's not going to influence companies like Zoom all that much, if at all.Īnd even then, a handheld gaming device, whether it runs Linux or not, is still not going to be a target for many software applications.i.e. ![]() ![]() So, do you guys think the waves the steam deck has been making.
